Schuller Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve

DESCRIPTION:

The Schüller Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve is a safety device that provides both temperature and pressure relief in unvented hot water installations. It prevents any serious and costly damage to the system components which may be caused when excess temperatures or pressures build up in an un-vented installation; possibly due to a faulty / damaged thermostat or pressure relief valve.

Installation

- The T&P valve should be fitted in the hottest part of the cylinder which is typically in the top 20%.

- The valve can be installed vertically or horizontally. When installed horizontally ensure that the discharge is pointing vertically downwards.

- Any water discharging from the T&P valve must be conveyed, via an air break (tundish) to a suitable discharge point. The discharge pipe must not exceed 9 metres in length and the pipe diameter of the discharge pipe must be maintained.

- Pressure Relief Setting: 7 bar (fixed)

- Maximum Ambient Temperature: 100℃

- Temperature Relief Setting: 90-95℃ (fixed)

- Probe Length: 100mm

- Connections: Inlet ¾" Male Iron | Outlet ¾" Female Iron.
