Excelsior Single Wall Flue System 6 Ft. (1800mm) Straight Length

DESCRIPTION:

Available in a range of diameters from 100 mm (4"), to 300 mm (12"), this easy to assemble system of various lengths and fittings, is used to provide flue connection to oil and gas fired boilers and air heaters, ventilation for boiler rooms, general ventilation and air conditioning duct-work, laboratory fume cupboards and steam ventilation applications.

Most of the system is manufactured using 0.55mm thick type 304 bright finished stainless steel. Where a greater resistance to corrosive conditions is required, some components are made using type 316 stainless steel. Nominal Straight Lengths range between 300 mm and 1800 mm. The actual installed length is 35 mm less because of the crimped overlap. (70 mm less with the Changeover Length). Joints between elements are made by linking crimped to non-crimped ends and securing with stainless steel rivets or self-tapping screws. Excelsior is not recommended for use with solid fuel appliances.

Note! On request, we can provide both changeover and access lengths. The changeover length is very useful when the flue pipe is going through a roof. The access length is very useful when the flue does not incorporate any bends or elbows which normally provide accessability for maintenance.
