Pressure Equalising Valve

DESCRIPTION:

The valve is designed to supply both hot and cold water at equal pressures regardless of any pressure variation in the incoming supply. It does this by automatically adjusting the higher hot or cold pressure to the level of the lower pressure. 

Can be used on multi-point/combi, fully modulating boilers, gravity systems, mains pressure hot water cylinders or any hot water system that provides constant temperature output. It can be installed vertically or horizontally and at any distance before the mixer, provided it supplies only one mixer and there is no additional draw off between the PEV and the mixer. It must be positioned where it is accessible for cleaning or maintenance which may be necessary. It is essential that this valve is installed in conjunction with Y Type

Strainers on the incoming water supplies.

- Minimum pressure of hot/cold water supply: 0.25 bar

- Maximum pressure of hot/cold water supply: 10.0 bar.
