Miniature Isolation Valves - Light Pattern (screwdriver operated)

DESCRIPTION:

Appliance or Service Valves usually come in two sizes 1/2" or 3/4" they should be placed at all water service outlets and appliances just before they are terminated and in a position that is easily reached. They can be used to isolate a certain outlet or appliance to allow maintenance or replacement thus eliminating the need to drain down the complete system which can be costly and time consuming.

They come with a number of different connections male BSP, Female BSP, compression, swivel nut tap connector or with a push fit termination. There are typically two methods to open or close the valve one type uses a flat head screw driver to operate the valve which can be useful when space is tight or it can be operated by turning a butterfly handle which is colour coded blue for cold water pipes and red for hot water pipes.

WRAS Approved! 1/2", 15mm have a 7.5mm bore diameter and 3/4", 22mm have a 10mm bore diameter. *15mm and 22mm are metric sizes.
