4 Ports 1/2" Valved Manifolds with Compression Joint Branch for Copper/Pex

DESCRIPTION:

Manifold are used to distribute pipe work to different locations around the building, they are used both in potable water and heating systems. All manifolds have either 2, 3 or 4 ports which have a 1/2" or 10mm (un-valved only) compression fitting connection at the outlet.  There is a 3/4" Male / Female threaded connection at either end allowing the possibility of joining the manifolds together.

The valve heads have a reversible red and blue insert. These are located over a printed disk which can be rotated to a fixed position to indicate the manifold branch service. Valved manifolds may be used for a wide range of applications and not just for radiator circuits. Both hot and cold water services can be provided by manifolds at central control points, much like the process used for electricity distribution. Such arrangements would enable isolation of individual “wet service” locations throughout the building, and with the manifolds located at convenient access points such as in a cupboards or the roof space.
“Wet service” locations could include: - wash hand basins, bidets, showers, toilets, baths, sinks, water heaters and many other applications. For instance, used in combination with just one Thermostatic Mixing Valve, (described elsewhere in this catalogue), it would be possible to provide temperature controlled hot water to all “wet service” points where scalding risks had to be avoided.
