DESCRIPTION:
Using a hole saw, drill the appropriate size hole in the soil pipe. Standard hole saw sizes apply to all bosses. To aid fitting the boss branch, chamfer the outer edge of the hole. Clean the surface around the hole and apply solvent cement. Similarly apply solvent cement to the inner face of the boss, and using a little force, push the boss branch into the wall of the soil pipe. When fully inserted you will hear a “click”. If necessary, rotate the now inserted boss branch so as to ensure the correct flow direction. Once fitted, connect the overflow or waste pipe using solvent cement.
