DESCRIPTION:
The Schiller IPS System is manufactured from modular welded steel frames combined with laminated/MFC panelling. Consisting of a base frame and a connected upper frame, it is designed to provide an easily installed and strong framework for duct panelling and associated sanitary ware and fittings. It is particularly suitable as a frame to support wall hung WCs, while also providing a skeleton structure to which Central Connecting Panels are secured. The system has been designed to take into consideration modern building needs and has been developed to accommodate a wide range of sanitary ware options including wall hung WCs, floor standing back to wall WCs and urinals. The system may also be supplied as a plain wall to conceal services. Each module frame is 500mm wide and is supplied preset and ready for installation on site.
The kits include top and bottom skirting and header boards, end panels, central connecting panels, lift off panels and where appropriate, side panels. The Lift off Panels are located and secured with pre-fitted Fixing Clips which attach to the frames and which allow for the use of 18mm melamine faced chipboard and 12mm compact grade laminate.
Composite grade laminate is especially suitable for use in wet areas. Each module is available either with or without a pre-fitted concealed cistern.
The IPS system is installed on a modular basis and is built up gradually. Initially, the frames need to be installed and then the central connecting panels are fitted followed by the lift off access panels. They are quick and easy to install and a detailed plan is provided with every kit; details of which may be found over leaf.
Each order is supplied with a detailed drawing and instruction booklet which provides all of the relevant dimensional and installation information required to easily and efficiently fit the system. Below is a typical layout.

Following the layout dimensional plan, the lower sections of the frames are set out and the floor is marked with their locations, but cannot be fixed at this stage. The upper sections of the frames are lifted and located into the lower sections and secured with the prefitted bolts. They are leveled and fixed to both the floor and walls. When Wcs are to be hung, then the lower sections are very firmly secured.
The connecting panels, facia board, plinth and returns are face fixed to the frames. All of the fixing screws will be concealed by the lift off panels and where they would be exposed in the corners, self adhesive colour matches covers are provided.
The lift off panels are lowered into position! The cibicles and/or ceramic ware are now ready to be installed. Note that when WCs are included, the lower panel will be pre cut to allow both the flush and soil pipes to pass through.
