Dual Incoloy Elements with Single Combined Stat & Cut Out

DESCRIPTION:

Single and dual element domestic Immersion Heaters are fully approved and tested by NEMKO to comply with the new European Standard EN 60335.2.73 and carry the CE Mark of Approval. Copper elements are suitable for non-aggressive and soft water areas, whereas, Incoloy elements should be used where potentially aggressive water conditions occur.

The heaters are available in both single and dual thermostat versions. Single dual element immersion heaters are fitted with either the highest quality, IMQ Approved, Thermowatt thermostat (dual element models), cap type 1, which incorporates a resettable secondary Thermal Device or a separate thermostat and safety cut-out, cap type 2. In both cases if the water temperature exceeds 90 deg. C, and the trip operates, it can be reset without the need to remove the terminal cover, providing additional consumer safety.

Dual thermostat dual element Immersion Heaters (product codes 23*, 27* & 36*), are fitted with Non Resetable Sunvic BEAB Approved safety thermostats incorporating thermal fuses providing the same degree of safety against excess water temperatures as the single thermostat heaters. These heaters are not recommended for use in indirect systems where the external heat source is from a coal fired boiler - the single thermostat heater is preferred within such a system.
