Pegler Equilibrium Float Valve

DESCRIPTION:

An equilibrium float valve works by using a hydraulically balanced piston to provide a fast, quiet, and smooth shut-off of water flow into a tank, effectively managing the water level regardless of fluctuations in upstream supply pressure. 

The key difference between an equilibrium float valve and a standard float valve is the pressure-balancing mechanism within the valve body. 

Pressure Balancing: The valve has a chamber behind the piston, connected to the main water supply via a small central hole through the piston itself. This design allows the mains water pressure to fill the chamber, resulting in equal water pressure on both sides of the piston. This creates a hydraulic equilibrium, which means the piston is balanced and can be moved with minimal force from the float arm.
