Rigiflex Corrugated Copper Flexible Tap and Pipe Connector

DESCRIPTION:

Rigiflex Connectors are supplied in an annealed condition and are very easily manipulated by hand. However, owing to the fact that they are made of Copper, they will become harder and less ductile as they are worked into the desired shape. In order to avoid fracture, they should be re-annealed. This will only be required if several manipulations are made.

It will become very noticeable to the user that the material is becoming stiff. Annealing is a process of softening by heating (for example with a gas blowtorch) and cooling; either naturally or by quenching in cool water.
