Cylinder Conversion Tube

DESCRIPTION:

The Hot Tube is designed to be inserted into a Standard 2½” BSP Immersion Heater Socket located at the top of a hot water cylinder and then connected to a pumped central heating circuit. The hot water flows through the double skinned tube, transferring energy and heating up the cylinder water. The effective heat transfer area is approximately 0.21m2.

The top of the Hot Tube has two projecting 15mm copper pipes, one connected to the top of the “Hot Tube”, the other to the bottom. Both pass freely though the cylinder connecting boss, so that the depth of insertion can be first determined and then fixed by soldering the pipes where they pass though the brass bushes.
