The Excel Cylinder flange also ensures an independent hot water supply to a shower at a constant temperature, even when other hot water taps are turned on, allowing showering in comfort. It is very easy to install. As fresh Water enters any cylinder, the heating process inevitably creates air bubbles in the water. This normally rises and is expelled through the expansion pipe from the top of the cylinder. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen the pumped supply is required, water is drawn along path \u003cstrong\u003eA\u003c\/strong\u003e, throught the lower flanged connection outlet \u003cstrong\u003eB\u003c\/strong\u003e. The end of the flange feed pipe \u003cstrong\u003eC\u003c\/strong\u003e, sits down about 6\" (150mm), inside the cylinder and draws bubbles free hot water as required. The cap \u003cstrong\u003eD\u003c\/strong\u003e, at the bottom of the pipe, is designed to stop any air entering the flange.
