DESCRIPTION:
Excel Solder Ring Fittings are manufactured to the stringent requirements of IS/EN 1254-1. They are available in the size range from 8mm to 10mm & ½” through to 2” for Irish copper tube to IS EN 1057. Only lead free solder complying with B.S. 219 is used to form the integral ring. They are suitable for use with potable water, light mineral oil, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and compressed air. When installed correctly they provide a very strong mechanical and water tight joint, working on the principal of capillary action when heated.
